PFD2 or Level 50 Lifejackets are intended to provide flotation for short-term immersion in sheltered water during daylight hours and where rescue is close at hand. They are made with inherently buoyant foam and are fitted to your weight measurement. Having less buoyancy makes body movement and getting out of the water into a boat easier.
