Our Heritage
Anchor Marine’s heritage and history runs deep within the sailing community. For generations, we have been a trusted name in sailing dinghies and smaller yachts, delivering unmatched expertise and solutions. How we have evolved
We began from the origins of Ron and Stan back in the early 1950s when dinghy and smaller yacht sailing became a serious leisure pursuit around Port Phillip Bay. In 1959 Anchor Marine began when RonStan moved from retail to manufacturing. Anchor Marine set up shop in the old milkbar on the corner at 81 Beach Road and for years traded there. In 2000, they expanded into larger premises at 77 Beach Road. In early 2023 we have closed our doors due to redevelopment of the site. Trade will continue online only with a focus on providing products for owners and DIYers of smaller yachts and sailing dinghies.
