Noelex Yachts is a brand of sailing yachts that was popular in New Zealand and Australia. The name “Noelex” is derived from “No Excuse” and reflects the idea that these yachts were designed to be easy to sail with no excuses for not getting out on the water. The Noelex Yacht design was created by John Mummery in the 1970s and gained popularity for its simplicity, affordability, and ease of handling.
