Ronstan Shocks are line blocks without sheaves.

They are used in various line and attachment applications on sailboats.

Ideal for dinghies and smaller yachts using lines under 5mm.

Applications:

• Control lines: Can be used for fine-tuning sheets (lines controlling sail trim) or other control lines requiring adjustments during sailing.
• Halyards: Used for raising and lowering sails with winches or manually.
• Vangs and runners: Employed on lines controlling mast bend, sail twist (vang), and boom position (runner).
• Temporary rigging: Useful for creating temporary connections for specific manoeuvres or rigging adjustments.
• Other applications: Applicable for various purposes, such as ladder hoists, motor hoists, lazy jacks (lines holding sails in place), sail covers, and tie-downs.
